Mini Biogas Plant using Kitchen Waste

A new Innovative technology allows for the production of renewable natural gas in the form of biomethane. In Dr. D Y Patil school of engineering and technology, there are two canteens, where a daily a large amount of kitchen waste is obtained, which we can utilize for production of biogas and that biogas can further use by the canteen authorities .there are two processes for production of kitchen waste that is aerobic and anaerobic. We require anaerobic digestion for biogas production. This project is to bring an organic processing facility to create biogas which will be cost effective and eco-friendly and the waste of production can be used as fertilizing and easy to use and reduce carbon dioxide production. Anaerobic is a microbial process for the production of biogas which consists of primary methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (co2).the continuously fed digester requires an addition of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to maintain the alkalinity and pH to7.the rate of production can be determined at laboratory scale using the simple digester.

Automated Table Ordering System

At present, information and communication technology has been brought to a number of businesses in order to make the operations more convenient adding to their values. Restaurant management can be more efficient with the help of technology. Both the owner and the customer will find it more convenient and hence values will be added from the good impression and the efficient administration and management of the entrepreneurs. As living standards improved, people not only focus on good diet but also on the dining environment and home deliveries. In addition, the management of traditional hotels is a relatively low level wherein all the operations are basically carried out by hand, the time taken by the waiter for taking orders is long, the waiter rushes about with leaflets and high error probability. Also, while taking home delivery orders, there can be mistakes done in a similar way while noting the orders. Today, hospitality and services have a great impact on the business. On this basis, the automated food ordering system came with the tide of fashion. The orders from the customer's tablet are sent directly to the kitchen as well as updated in the central database. Due to the tablets the waiter does not need to leave the tables to process the orders, they can spend more time in satisfying and grooming the customers, there won't be any issues of orders being mixed, waiters will know the availability of the food as the messages will be sent to the waiter's tablet from the kitchen, status of the ordered food can be checked at any time by the waiter as well as the customer. Plus, there will be an online version available for home delivery of food. All these goals can be achieved by this proposed system.

Hyphenated Techniques- A Comprehensive Review

The hyphenated technique is the combination or the coupling of the different analytical techniques. Mainly chromatographic techniques are combined with spectroscopic techniques. Then the separated components of the mixture from chromatographic technique will enter into the spectroscopic technique through an interphase. In GC-MS the separated components from gas chromatography enter to MS which is followed by ionization, mass analysis, and detection of mass-to-charge ratios of ions generated from each analyze by the mass spectrometer. Jet/orifice separator, effusion separator, and membrane separator can be used to connect GC with MS. In LC- NMR coupling the analytical flow cell was initially constructed for continuous-flow to NMR. However, the need for full structural assessment of novel natural products has led to the application in the stopped-flow mode in LC-MS. Use of LC-MS-MS is increasing speedily day by day. Hyphenated techniques such as HPLC coupled to UV and mass spectrometry (LC-UV-MS) have been extremely useful in combination with biological screening for a rapid survey of natural products. Nowadays, various types of LC-MS systems incorporating different types of interfaces are available commercially. The term hyphenated techniques refer to separation, identification, and the hyphenated techniques shows better analysis of the samples are components specificity, accuracy, precision.

Nanosponges: A Novel Targeted Drug Delivery for Cancer Treatment

Effective drug delivery at the targeted or specific site is the significant problem which is being faced by the researchers in the anti-cancer formulation. The development of new colloidal, porous, tiny mesh-like carrier called nanosponges with the size 1μm range which offers controlled drug delivery at a specific site in cancer treatment. Nanosponges play an important role in targeting drug delivery in a controlled manner. A wide variety of drugs, both the lipophilic as well as hydrophilic can be loaded into nanosponge for targeting drug delivery and ultimately improve solubility and bioavailability of the same drug.Nanosponge can circulate around the whole body until they interact with the specific target site and stick on the surface and begin to release the drug in a controlled manner. In this review article, application of nanosponges, its preparation methods, polymers used and characterization have been discussed.

Intelligent Women Security System

This project is basically based on the security and safety of a woman who is traveling lonely and is unethically physically harassed by an individual or a group of people. This is increasing at a huge pace due to lack of suitable surveillance system. Our project is a venture to resolve this problem. Our project is basically a combination of a wrist band and a smart phone enabled with a Bluetooth device that is a part of our daily lifestyle. This system resembles a band on the wrist incorporated with a panic switch which when activated sends a message via smartphone to the registered number and an emergency number i.e. women helpline or nearby police station. It also has a sweat detection mechanism that is activated when a woman is harassed and that activates the same mechanism as the panic button. Our project has an additional feature of a stun gun for self-defence so as to give an interstice for the women to run and reach a safe place. We believe that this endeavor will cause a drastic change in women life.

Molecular and Cellular Mechanisms in Drug Resistant Bacteria

The presence of antibiotics in the natural systems affects the environment. Their incidence has led to the increased emergence of antibiotic resistant microbes. These multi-drug resistant organisms persist and spread globally, thereby causing clinical failures in treating infections and health crises. Treatment of such infections caused by multi-drug resistant bacteria has been compromised although it is imperative that such resistance has been attributed to various molecular and cellular changes in the bacteria. This review focuses on the various cellular and molecular modifications that happen in a bacterial cell in general. It is important for us in order to understand these mechanisms for the better management of the antibiotics.

Sewage Treatment Plant

A sewage treatment plant is quite necessary to receive the domestic and commercial waste and removes the materials which pose harm for general public. Its objective is to produce an environmentally-safe fluid waste stream (or treated effluent) and a solid waste (or treated sludge) suitable for disposal or reuse (usually as farm fertiliser). The growing environmental pollution needs for decontaminating wastewater result in the study of characterisation of waste water, especially domestic sewage. In the past, domestic waste water treatment was mainly confined to organic carbon removal. Recently, increasing pollution in the wastewater leads to developing and implementing new treatment techniques to control nitrogen and other priority pollutants. Sewage Treatment Plant is a facility designed to receive the waste from domestic, commercial and industrial sources and to remove materials that damage water quality and compromise public health and safety when discharged into water receiving systems. It includes physical, chemical, and biological processes to remove various contaminants depending on its constituents. Using advanced technology it is now possible to re-use sewage effluent for drinking water. Sewage/waste water treatment consist of different processes which protect the environment & human through cleansing the water pollutant. In history, people used difference method of treatment for purification of water which gets advance by advancement in the technological world.

Data Leakage Prevention

This paper explores the issue of data leakage detection. The unauthorized person transfers some important data to unknown person or outside the world from organization record. We developed data leakage detection software to overcome the important data leakage from organization. Data leakage detection is strategy for making sure that users do not send sensitive data or information to outside the world. In the organization, sometimes sensitive data must be handed over to trusted third parties from a user (guilty user). Distributor can easily accessible all information about guilty user for example: which file shares to fake agent from organization data records and there details etc. The main goal of the software is identify data leakages using some data allocation strategies and find out the fake agent and users who leak the important data. Data leakage prevention software also provides the essential security to data.

GasBo for LPG Gas Detection and Controlling Using Mobile App

An acute gas sensor is utilized to detect the presence of a combustible LPG leak in your car or in a service station, storage tank environment. This unit can be easily incorporated into an alarm unit, to sound an alarm or give a visible indication of the LPG assiduity. The sensor has excellent sensitivity Combined with a quick response time. The sensor can also sense isobutene, propane, LNG and cigarette smoke. If the LPG sensor senses any gas dropout from storage the output of this sensor goes down. This down signal is monitored by the microcontroller and it will identify the gas leakage. Now the The microcontroller is turned on LED and Buzzer. After few milliseconds delay. Gas leakage is a major problem with an industrial sector, residential premises etc. O-associated with the gas leakage is to Install a gas leakage detection kit at vulnerable places. The aim of this project is to present such a design that can automatically ascertain, alert and control leakage of gas. In this project, after the drop- off of gas is ascertained, the valve is automatically closed, thereby stopping the leakage. In particular, gas sensor has been used which has high sensible to gasses like propane and butane. Gas leakage system comprises of GSM module, which alerts the user by sending SMS.

Robot Teleoperation Using Virtual Image

This paper presents the remote controlling of a robot via a virtual image. The theory of virtual reality is to develop the world with cradling cyberspace and one can interact with this virtual world in more sophisticated and pragmatic manner. This architecture helps to create a modern form of Human – Machine interaction. Our motto is to replace the standard form of interaction such as keyboard and mouse which are more familiarly used. This idea is viewed as a neoteric way of working with machines and encourages people to adopt to modern technologies rather than the old around. But the idea of the virtual world is adverse. It allows people to completely immerse themselves in it, where things are explored through their senses. This naturalistic form of interaction within the virtual world often results in the conventional method to stimulate and study about systems.
