. Fintech Revolution: A Step towards Digitisation of Payments - Review of Existing Literature

A research study titled “Fintech Revolution: a step towards digitization of payments” was conducted with the focus on learning about digitization of payments in India and its importance in the current economic scenario. The study focused on three major FinTech companies in the country. There is a large pool of secondary data available which is analysed with the help of a software tool called “MAXQDA”. Using the qualitative analysis the variables that lead to digital cash are identified. In support to the qualitative analysis a pre-tested questionnaire was administered to assess the use of digital wallet among the users which is further analysed using “Statistical Product and Service Solutions package” (IBM SPSS), a data analysis tool. As part of the above research study, the existing literature has been reviewed. The concepts of FinTech companies and digitisation of payments being the novel phenomenon in the economy reviewing the existing literature helped in identifying the research areas for assessing the performance and contribution of these concepts to the growth of the economy. The literature thus reviewed constitutes the content of the current paper.

. Psychological Disorders and Yogic Remedies

Human life is not free from problems. Each and every person has to face difficulties during his life time because of his existence. We go to doctors, psychologists and counsellors or even astrologers to get rid of above problems. But in fact many of our problems can be over come by becoming conscious of those and coordinating with the inside natural forces within us with the outer world nature. There are both positive and negative forces in us. Faith, love, confidence, endurance, patience etc are positive or constructive forces whereas fear, hostile attitude, inferiority and guilty feelings are the negative forces which may cause psychological problems.Where there is a problem, there is a solution. So for every problem of our life,we must correct the cause to eliminate the difficulties. To achieve this ,we need absolute control and mental discipline ,i.e.,we should try to train our mind totally aware of our thought, sppech and action. This is what ,that has been explained in ancient yogic texts and practice of Asana and Pranayama will help to attain success in our path.

. Wealth out of Waste, Best out of Waste, Cash out of Trash - Review of Literature

In the context of “Swachh Sarvekshan”, the concept of waste management plays a very significant role in achieving the vision and mission of “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”, the clean mission of India. Waste on one hand can become a factor undesirable, on the other and the most important angle, can contribute significantly to the national income as it has the potential to become a great source of income if put to use through recycling and reusing. Focusing on the domestic waste, a project was taken up under the title “A Cost-Effective Prototype Solution for Finance Accountability using MATLAB-GUI for Waste Management” which formulated a cost-effective software solution using MATLAB-GUI for finance accountability during the administration of waste management at municipality level. Considering nine modules with nine parameters as one for each module the software formulated assists in calculation of revenues generated out of recycled and reused waste, in a flash of a moment. The project also provides a sample administration to the software designed to facilitate easy replication besides giving a few workable solutions for sustaining the enthusiasm of the citizens in following the procedures laid down for managing the waste effectively. The current article reviews the available literature in the area of waste management and fund accountability. The study of this literature helped in identifying the research gap for selection of the above project and facilitated the formulation of the software solution.

. Recovery of Silver – Review

Since the end of the nineteenth Century, man has learned to use radiation for many beneficial purposes. Today, many sources of radiation, such as x-ray machines, linear accelerators and radionuclides are used in clinical and research applications. Such beneficial uses may at times create potentially hazardous situations for personnel who work within the hospital. About 27 percent of the silver synthesized every year is used in photographic industry globally. In India lot of Silver Recovery Process Units are extracting silver from X-ray films. Various unique techniques are being implemented. Since silver is an toxic compound, the role of silver is inevitable in certain situations. Precipitation, electrolysis are the major techniques.
