. Correlation of GA and PSO for Analysis of Efficient Optimization

This paper aims to claim the correlation between PSO and GA to analyze best optimization technique. We have opted Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) from Swarm based and Genetic Algorithm (GA) from Evolution based, it claims that PSO & GA produces the same effectiveness and moreover PSO is more computationally efficient than GA. Griewangks function is taken as input test function to compare PSO and GA to find out best optimized value. Evolution is the change in gene pool of population from generation to generation by processes such as mutation, selection and crossover. Swarm intelligence is based on nature-inspired behavior and is successfully applied to optimization problems in a variety of fields. In this system interaction between individuals and simple behavior between population and environment usually lead to detection of aggregate behavior, which is typical for whole colony. This could be observe by ants, bees, birds or bacteria in the nature which inspired to develop the algorithm called Swarm-based intelligence and are successfully applied for solving complicated optimization problem. PSO and GA are similar in the sense that these two heuristics are population based search methods. GA has been popular in academia and industry because of its intuitiveness and ability to effectively solve higher non-linear optimization problems. It is based on principles of Genetics and Natural Selection. The main limitation of GA is its effective computational cost. PSO works for flock of birds and is applied to so many areas such as function optimization, artificial neural network training, fuzzy system control and other areas where GA can be applied.

. A Study on Child Abuse in the State Of Goa

Child Abuse is one of the serious problems not only in India but the entire world. Though legislation for the protection of children from child abuse has been established at national and state level, the crime of child abuse is increasing at an alarming rate. Goa is a small state, but still, there is an increase in the crimes of child abuse. Due to this increase, the number of cases pending in Goa Children Court is increasing. Earlier the offenses of child abuse are tried under only under Goa children Act 2003, in the state of Goa but after implementation of POSCO Act 2012 (Protection of Children from sexual offenses), cases of child abuse are also tried under both Goa Children Act 2003 and POSCO Act 2012. The maximum punishment awarded to the offender under both this Act is 10 years. But in spite of the maximum punishment awarded there is a rapid increase in cases of child abuse in the state of Goa. The current study highlights the increase in cases of child abuse cases tried under Goa Children Act 2003 in the state of Goa.

. Analysis of Adaptive Filter Approach for Speech Enhancement Using Simulink

In this paper, we postulate the analysis of different adaptive filter algorithms, that is Least mean square (LMS), Normalized least mean square (NLMS) and Recursive least square (RLS) for speech enhancement using Simulink tool. This speech enhancement approach is done only through noise suppression because intelligibility and pleasantness cannot be measured by mathematical calculations. By improving the signal-to-noise ratio during the speech signal processing using different Adaptive Filter algorithms technique approach for speech enhancement approach can be done. To analyze the adaptive filter algorithms, each algorithm is computationally implemented and signal to noise ratio of algorithms are examined. Criteria of these adaptive filter algorithms are analyzed by varying the step size for minimum mean square error optimization using Simulink tool.

. GasBo for LPG Gas Detection and Controlling Using Mobile App

An acute gas sensor is utilized to detect the presence of a combustible LPG leak in your car or in a service station, storage tank environment. This unit can be easily incorporated into an alarm unit, to sound an alarm or give a visible indication of the LPG assiduity. The sensor has excellent sensitivity Combined with a quick response time. The sensor can also sense isobutene, propane, LNG and cigarette smoke. If the LPG sensor senses any gas dropout from storage the output of this sensor goes down. This down signal is monitored by the microcontroller and it will identify the gas leakage. Now the The microcontroller is turned on LED and Buzzer. After few milliseconds delay. Gas leakage is a major problem with an industrial sector, residential premises etc. O-associated with the gas leakage is to Install a gas leakage detection kit at vulnerable places. The aim of this project is to present such a design that can automatically ascertain, alert and control leakage of gas. In this project, after the drop- off of gas is ascertained, the valve is automatically closed, thereby stopping the leakage. In particular, gas sensor has been used which has high sensible to gasses like propane and butane. Gas leakage system comprises of GSM module, which alerts the user by sending SMS.

. Data Leakage Prevention

This paper explores the issue of data leakage detection. The unauthorized person transfers some important data to unknown person or outside the world from organization record. We developed data leakage detection software to overcome the important data leakage from organization. Data leakage detection is strategy for making sure that users do not send sensitive data or information to outside the world. In the organization, sometimes sensitive data must be handed over to trusted third parties from a user (guilty user). Distributor can easily accessible all information about guilty user for example: which file shares to fake agent from organization data records and there details etc. The main goal of the software is identify data leakages using some data allocation strategies and find out the fake agent and users who leak the important data. Data leakage prevention software also provides the essential security to data.

. Sewage Treatment Plant

A sewage treatment plant is quite necessary to receive the domestic and commercial waste and removes the materials which pose harm for general public. Its objective is to produce an environmentally-safe fluid waste stream (or treated effluent) and a solid waste (or treated sludge) suitable for disposal or reuse (usually as farm fertiliser). The growing environmental pollution needs for decontaminating wastewater result in the study of characterisation of waste water, especially domestic sewage. In the past, domestic waste water treatment was mainly confined to organic carbon removal. Recently, increasing pollution in the wastewater leads to developing and implementing new treatment techniques to control nitrogen and other priority pollutants. Sewage Treatment Plant is a facility designed to receive the waste from domestic, commercial and industrial sources and to remove materials that damage water quality and compromise public health and safety when discharged into water receiving systems. It includes physical, chemical, and biological processes to remove various contaminants depending on its constituents. Using advanced technology it is now possible to re-use sewage effluent for drinking water. Sewage/waste water treatment consist of different processes which protect the environment & human through cleansing the water pollutant. In history, people used difference method of treatment for purification of water which gets advance by advancement in the technological world.

. Molecular and Cellular Mechanisms in Drug Resistant Bacteria

The presence of antibiotics in the natural systems affects the environment. Their incidence has led to the increased emergence of antibiotic resistant microbes. These multi-drug resistant organisms persist and spread globally, thereby causing clinical failures in treating infections and health crises. Treatment of such infections caused by multi-drug resistant bacteria has been compromised although it is imperative that such resistance has been attributed to various molecular and cellular changes in the bacteria. This review focuses on the various cellular and molecular modifications that happen in a bacterial cell in general. It is important for us in order to understand these mechanisms for the better management of the antibiotics.

. Intelligent Women Security System

This project is basically based on the security and safety of a woman who is traveling lonely and is unethically physically harassed by an individual or a group of people. This is increasing at a huge pace due to lack of suitable surveillance system. Our project is a venture to resolve this problem. Our project is basically a combination of a wrist band and a smart phone enabled with a Bluetooth device that is a part of our daily lifestyle. This system resembles a band on the wrist incorporated with a panic switch which when activated sends a message via smartphone to the registered number and an emergency number i.e. women helpline or nearby police station. It also has a sweat detection mechanism that is activated when a woman is harassed and that activates the same mechanism as the panic button. Our project has an additional feature of a stun gun for self-defence so as to give an interstice for the women to run and reach a safe place. We believe that this endeavor will cause a drastic change in women life.
