Analysis of Adaptive Filter Approach for Speech Enhancement Using Simulink

In this paper, we postulate the analysis of different adaptive filter algorithms, that is Least mean square (LMS), Normalized least mean square (NLMS) and Recursive least square (RLS) for speech enhancement using Simulink tool. This speech enhancement approach is done only through noise suppression because intelligibility and pleasantness cannot be measured by mathematical calculations. By improving the signal-to-noise ratio during the speech signal processing using different Adaptive Filter algorithms technique approach for speech enhancement approach can be done. To analyze the adaptive filter algorithms, each algorithm is computationally implemented and signal to noise ratio of algorithms are examined. Criteria of these adaptive filter algorithms are analyzed by varying the step size for minimum mean square error optimization using Simulink tool.

A Study on Child Abuse in the State Of Goa

Child Abuse is one of the serious problems not only in India but the entire world. Though legislation for the protection of children from child abuse has been established at national and state level, the crime of child abuse is increasing at an alarming rate. Goa is a small state, but still, there is an increase in the crimes of child abuse. Due to this increase, the number of cases pending in Goa Children Court is increasing. Earlier the offenses of child abuse are tried under only under Goa children Act 2003, in the state of Goa but after implementation of POSCO Act 2012 (Protection of Children from sexual offenses), cases of child abuse are also tried under both Goa Children Act 2003 and POSCO Act 2012. The maximum punishment awarded to the offender under both this Act is 10 years. But in spite of the maximum punishment awarded there is a rapid increase in cases of child abuse in the state of Goa. The current study highlights the increase in cases of child abuse cases tried under Goa Children Act 2003 in the state of Goa.

Future Solar Highway in Normal Roads

Roads are very sensitive base of modern economy. Due to it's sort life span it is costlier and uncomfortable. New era of the construction is came out with the solar roads. Solar roads are also costlier than the asphalt roads. Even the construction time is more than the economy. So the cost effective and time saving research have been taken in this paper.

Implementation of Automatic Piano Player Using Matlab Graphical User Interface

The conventional piano is often expensive and not portable, its ambidexterity and ubiquity have made it one of the world’s most familiar and famous musical instruments. Here in this paper, Proposing Implementation of Automatic Piano Player by using MATLAB GUI software. In this paper, we had used the most powerful features of the MATLAB i. e GUI (Graphical User Interface) Toolbox to generate various frequency tones of a piano. This paper presents how MATLAB generates virtual keyboard of a piano via GUI then click on the key using a mouse then it will generate that tone. And depending upon which key has pressed the frequency related that key will be played.

Hardness Measurement of Metal Using Matlab

The design in this project showcase the implementation of a Hardness Measurement Of Metal Using MATLAB.Hardness is the property of a material that resists bending, scratching & plastic deformation. In this method, a specific force is applied on the surface of metal. Thus, it results in the formation of an impression. The depth of the impression formed on the surface on the metal depicts the hardness of the metal. The value of depth measured is the value of hardness. In the present investigation, the hardness of a material is measured from the diameter of the indent formed. The depth and diameter of indentation directly proportional to each other. In the present study, images of the metal were taken for analysis.Image analysis using MATLAB software is employed to measure the diameter of the indentation from obtained images. Thus, from the measured value of diameter, the appropriate harness vale of the metal is calculated.

Correlation of GA and PSO for Analysis of Efficient Optimization

This paper aims to claim the correlation between PSO and GA to analyze best optimization technique. We have opted Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) from Swarm based and Genetic Algorithm (GA) from Evolution based, it claims that PSO & GA produces the same effectiveness and moreover PSO is more computationally efficient than GA. Griewangks function is taken as input test function to compare PSO and GA to find out best optimized value. Evolution is the change in gene pool of population from generation to generation by processes such as mutation, selection and crossover. Swarm intelligence is based on nature-inspired behavior and is successfully applied to optimization problems in a variety of fields. In this system interaction between individuals and simple behavior between population and environment usually lead to detection of aggregate behavior, which is typical for whole colony. This could be observe by ants, bees, birds or bacteria in the nature which inspired to develop the algorithm called Swarm-based intelligence and are successfully applied for solving complicated optimization problem. PSO and GA are similar in the sense that these two heuristics are population based search methods. GA has been popular in academia and industry because of its intuitiveness and ability to effectively solve higher non-linear optimization problems. It is based on principles of Genetics and Natural Selection. The main limitation of GA is its effective computational cost. PSO works for flock of birds and is applied to so many areas such as function optimization, artificial neural network training, fuzzy system control and other areas where GA can be applied.

Uses of Cassia Fistula Linn as a Medicinal Plant

There are many Cassia species worldwide which are used in herbal medicine systems. Cassia fistula is no exception.it is often used as a highly effective moderate laxative that is safe even For children. However, in large doses, the leaves and bark can cause vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain and cramps18. Cassia fistula is also employed as a remedy for tumors of the abdomen, glands, liver, stomach, and throat, for burns, cancer, constipation, convulsions, delirium, diarrhea, dysuria, epilepsy, gravel, hematuria, pimples, and glandular tumors. This plant is used by traditional medical practitioners for the treatment of various diseases. It is known as a rich source of tannins, flavonoids, and glycosides present in Cassia fistula might be medicinally important and/or nutritionally valuable. The plant is rich in carbohydrates, Linoleic, Oleic, and Stearic. The present review summarizes some important pharmacological studies on Cassia fistula and phytochemical investigations and isolated principles from them

Hazard Identification of Chemical Mixing Plant through Hazop Study

Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) technique is the best step for identification and analyzing the hazard and operational issues of the system. It is very organized, methodical and structured process to identify hazards of any system or process from the initiating stage till decommissioning of the project. Technology and system possess exposure to undesired events because the system can fail or improper work resulting in injury, damage, and deaths. Our lives are dealing with a web of different systems, each of which can affect our safety. Each of these systems contains inherent hazard that presents unique risk. The major concerned is about eliminating and reducing risk which leads to undesired events. This paper discusses the hazard analysis through HAZOP technique done on a chemical mixing process producing 10% HCL as a final product and all the possible consequences arising from the deviation is identified using several guide words. The result of Hazard identification helps to suggest the control measures in order to prevent deviation and to avoid the consequences. HAZOP technique provides clear and detailed analysis of hazard associated with the process and results are easy to understand.

RTO Office Management System

RTO office management system project is prepared for RTO office to maintain all records like 2 wheeler registration, 3 wheeler registrations, LMV, HMV, learning licence and driving licence, changing of address, renewal form and many more. These are the main activities of RTO office. Administrator is power user, he has the power to verify the data and provide appropriate solutions. By introducing the new system we have been organized some striking facilities. Registration of vehicle through online. Fancy number selection of vehicles through online. Issues of information about licence, which includes application forms and licence test and other information. In the existing system of RTO office perform functions such as registration, licence and fitness. Regional transport office is the organization of the Indian government responsible for maintaining a database of vehicles for various states of India. The RTO issues driving licences, organizes collection of vehicle excise duty and sells personalized registrations. These are the main activities of RTO office; we developed this software application with fully computerized method to manage all the data. At present all records are maintained manually.
