Secure and Avoid Inter-User Collision for Medium Access Control

Remote system powerfully designates channel assets to enhance otherworldly effectiveness and, to keep away from impacts, has its clients coordinate with each other utilizing a medium access control (MAC)convention. Nonetheless, MAC accepts client consistence furthermore, can be inconvenient when a client gets out of hand. An assailant who traded off the system can dispatch additionally destroying black hole attack(BHA) assaults than a system untouchable by sending unreasonable reservation solicitations to squander data transfer capacity, by tuning in to the control messages and leading force effective sticking, by distorting data to control the system control, etc. We construct SecureMAC to guard against such insider dangers while holding the advantages of coordination between the helpful clients. Secure MAC is contained four parts: channelization to anticipate inordinate reservations, randomization to upset receptive focused on sticking, coordination to counter control-message mindful sticking and resolve over reserved also, under-held range, and power attribution to decide every hub's commitment to the got control. Our hypothetical examinations and execution assessments illustrate better execution over past methodologies, which either disregard security issues or surrender the advantage of participation when under assault by handicapping client coordination, (for example, the Nash balance of nonstop wideband transmission).

Diasporic Trajectory and Broken Identities in Jhumpa Lahiri’s ‘Interpreter of Maladies’

Lahiri as a writer of uncommon elegance and poise and a wonderfully distinctive new voice, she chronicles dislocation and social unease in a fresh manner as did her predecessors like Bharati Mukherjee or Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. She being the recepient of the coveted Pultizer award for her collection of short stories Interpreter of Maladies, is a voice of Indo-American origin. Though she lives in the U.S, her works are imbued with ethos of Indian culture and sensibility. She may be considered a writer of Indian diaspora, though her own idea of India is 'of the mind' only.

QT Prolongation Associated with Multiple Drug-Drug Interactions

Many drugs are known to prolong QT interval which increases the risk of development of ventricular tachycardia and cardiac arrest. The majority of sudden cardiac deaths are caused by acute ventricular arrhythmia following repolarization disturbances. An important risk factor for repolarization disturbances is use of QT prolonging drugs. Drug interactions also play a clinically significant role in the development of QT prolongation substantially, in patients receiving multiple drugs that are prone to prolong QT interval. The present case study reports two consecutive QT prolongation events associated with drug-drug interactions in a patient during his hospital stay. A 63-years-old Asian male patient was being treated for his complaints of breathlessness, uneasiness, chest discomfort and palpitation (baseline QTc being 457 msec). During his treatment, he developed QT prolongation (QTc=494 msec) suspected to be the result of concomitant use of levofloxacin, ondansetron and ivabradine; QT prolongation reduced after discontinuation of the suspected drugs. In the same patient, during the later course of therapy, a concomitant use of amiodarone and fluconazole caused QT prolongation (QTc=536 msec) again. This complication is best approached with immediate discontinuation of interacting drugs and considering their alternatives. Knowledge enhancement regarding QT prolonging drug combinations and rapid ECG monitoring while using those combinations will help circumvent such adverse events.

Analysis and Performance Evaluation of Nano-Scale Semiconductor Devices

The current work in this paper deals with the analysis and comparison of single gate silicon on insulator (SG-SOI) MOSFET and double gate silicon on insulator (DG-SOI) MOSFET. Both the devices have 20nm Fin width and channel length of 50nm. The quantitative analysis of these nanoscale gate devices and comparison between their parameters such as Subthreshold Slope(SS), Threshold voltage(Vt), transconductance(gm), output conductance(gd). This resulted in reduction of short channel effects(SCE’s) in the double gate MOSFET. The simulation of both the devices is done using ATLAS Simulator is SILVACO TCAD.

Device for Monitoring Pyrexia in Special Children and Tracking using a Two Way Communication GPS System

Child trafficking represents the major threat in today's world. It has increased the nation's consciousness to this problem. The proposed device is composed of a GPS tracker, Temperature sensor and a Force sensor (biometric sensors). The GPS tracker is powered by the thermoelectric generator (heat generated from within the body). The device is miniaturized using Nano technology and implanted in the teeth of the child. The proposed device communicates by a communication link to a Global Positioning System to obtain geographic location information relating to the physical location of a child. When the temperature readings from the sensor goes beyond the normal range an alert message will be sent to the parent’s/guardian mobile number, in this case it can be used to examine whether a special kid has a fever or not because he/she may not be able to properly communicate about their well-being. The device is programmed based on the fact that during flight conditions our body temperature varies abnormally. So, when someone forcefully tries to abduct the child the temperature readings on the temperature sensor goes abnormal which in turn activates the GPS tracker or when the child wants to intimate its location to their parent’s/guardian by exerting pressure on the force sensor which in turn sends the geographical location. If the parents have a bad feeling/intuition they can simple make a call to the inscribed number and they can get the geographical location of the child.

Employer-Sponsored Childcare Program: A New Fringe Benefit

Nowadays employers are in search of new fringe benefits, they can provide to their employees. In March 2017, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had assent some amendments in Maternity Benefit Act. He had not only revised paid maternity leaves from 12 weeks to 26 weeks but also made it mandate for companies having more than 50 employees should have their own childcare centers inside the campus or near-site. The employer-sponsored daycare facility is the new fringe benefit provided by organizations to their employees. The purpose of my study is to study the issues parents are facing in childcare. The focus of my work is to find out the impact of employer-sponsored childcare facility on employees and employer. Also, I have studied few organizational cases in this paper. My research work is based on secondary data. Very little research work is available on this topic. So I got very less literature to review. After reading few articles, research papers and reports, I came to the conclusion that every parent of small kids is facing issues in childcare. Many organizations which are providing this facility have experienced growth in productivity and employees who are availing this facility have improved their performance.

Dual Cloud Secure Keyword Search Scheme with Public Key Encryption

Dual cloud database to realize convenient and low-cost applications and services. In order of services to provide sufficient functionality for SQL queries, many secure database schemes have been proposed. However, such schemes are vulnerable to privacy leakage to a cloud server. The main reason is that database is hosted and processed the cloud server, which is beyond the control of data owners. For the numerical range query (“>”, “<”, etc.), those schemes cannot provide sufficient privacy protection against practical challenges, e.g., privacy leakage of statistical properties, access pattern. Increased the number of queries will inevitably leak more information to the cloud server. dual cloud architecture for protecting the database, with a series of intersection protocols, are provided security preservation to various numeric related range queries. The secure analysis shows privacy of numerical information can strongly protect against dual cloud providers in our projects. Applying the proxy signature technique to manage the group leader can effectively grant the permission of group management to one or more chosen group members can analysis easy located from the different resource. Proxy server encryption techniques most computational operation delegated to Cloud Servers without disclosing the private information. Extensive security and performance analysis are shows that our proposed scheme is highly efficient and satisfies the could later retrieve. Security requirements for public cloud secure sharing the data. Efficient and resilient against loss malicious data modification attack and even server attacks.
