Advanced IoT based combined remote health monitoring and alarm system

The world is changed nowadays by automation and internet of things. Our lives are also made easier and automated day by day with the development and revolution in modern technology caused by the Internet of Things. In the recent era, health hazard is not an age-dependent factor due to irregular lifestyles and busy schedule. Patients’ health is acquired by various sensors and then the data which is stored on the Internet of Things is displayed through the website that helps to access the remote monitoring. Thus, with the use of sensors, we can reduce human errors as well as the occupied space in the room is also reduced due to the size of the system. The alarm generation is used in such a manner that the patient is not devoid of taking medicines in time. In case the health parameters cross the threshold value, a notification is sent through email or SMS alert. An optimum surrounding is also created as per the patients’ health requirement. The discussion of heart rate, blood pressure, respiration rate, body temperature, body movement and saline levels is done in this paper.

Training an autonomous car

This paper aims to simulate an autonomous car which is rewarded according to the actions it takes. The car learns from the actions it does and the rewards it receives for them. The project consists of an Artificial Intelligence system, i.e. an agent acts upon the environment in a virtually simulated environment. A simulator is designed which consists of multiple roads and their intersections. At each intersection, there is a traffic light. Random traffic is also generated on random roads. The agent, i.e. the car, responds to the environment (Traffic lights, Traffic). The agent is rewarded accordingly to whatever decision it makes. Using the results discussed in this paper, any vehicle will be able to cruise through traffic based on real-time environment. Furthermore, thanks to the multiple research papers, studies, and forum that helped us complete this.

IOT based smart energy meter

It is a proposed system designed to eliminate human involvement in the electricity system. IOT (Internet of things) is the network of physical things with electronics software, sensors, and connectivity to enable objects to collect and exchange data. IOT based automatic meter reading is the technology of automatically collecting data energy meter and transferring data to the server for billing process and if there is any tempering then also detectable. The internet connection to meter collect the data and display data on the LCD by which we can read and understand the things that are going on the system. Current drawn also calculated by the current transformer that connected in series with the load will be shown on the LCD. This data transfer to server unit at MSEB. MSEB is not a technical word but it is electricity distribution board “Maharashtra State Electricity Board”. The data is received by the internet and whenever a key is pressed microcontroller send SMS through the internet to the transmitter to get the reading of the meter. It is difficult to manual reading and calculating bill of individually. This will help for the proper and accurate reading of billing process. By taking all these features that can be done by IOT based smart energy meter easily.

Ergonomic risk assessment among healthcare laboratory technicians in benghazi medical centre

Laboratory health-care technicians, including microbiologists, pathologist, chemists and etc, are exposed to a number of risk factors in the workplace for musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). But, the individual effect of these risk factors on laboratory technicians in Libya is unknown. Objective: The aim of this study was to know the risk factors and its individual contribution for work-related MSDs (WMSDs) among laboratory technicians in health care system. Materials and Methods: Descriptive Cross-Sectional study, done on laboratory health-care technicians in Benghazi Medical Centre (BMC). Risk factors were categorized into personal and workstation which was known using questionnaire and RULA checklist. Outcomes: A total of 103 subjects participated randomly in the study. Data outcomes display that all the study participants are at ergonomic risk caused by static & repetitive working postures during laboratory tasks such as computer workstation and pipetting workstation that were found to be the most important contributory factors in WMSDs. Conclusion: Medical laboratory technicians are strongly encouraged to adopt preventive measures toward personal and workstation-related risk factors before symptoms of WMSDs develop.

Protection of load and charge using Solar Power Management

This paper focuses on the protection of load and charge using solar power management. Solar energy is converted into electrical energy by photovoltaic cells. This energy is stored in batteries during daytime to be utilized during night time. In fact, the developed project has many advantages as existing devices, as it deals with a controlled charging mechanism that avoids overcharge, deep discharge and under/over voltage of the battery and load. Unless barriers like under/over charge are overcome, maintaining and increasing electricity supplies from solar energy will require continuation of potentially costly policy support.

Energy efficiency improvement of induction motor by integral cycle control using ATMEGA controller

At present situation, all house and industries have more than one number of the ceiling fan which operates on an average of 10-15 hours/day. So the contribution of a fan in the overall energy consumption of house and industry is of considerable value since there is no existing system which deals with reducing the energy consumed by a fan. By our proposed system we can reduce the energy consumption of fan by controlling the supply given to it. To control the voltage a control switch is used in addition to a microcontroller. So by effectively reducing the energy consumption of the electric fan, major changes can be seen in overall energy saving in all houses and industries. In Single-phase induction motors for a high starting torque, a capacitor-start capacitor-run arrangement is used; the speed is usually controlled by voltage control methods. This paper is implemented to control the speed of split phase induction motor by controlling load voltage depends upon the ratio of ON and total (ON+OFF) periods or the number of ON and OFF cycles of the supply voltage.

Women empowerment is the most important need of society if the society has to develop in all spheres of life rural women has to lead from the front. Empowerment of women is a complex process which needs to gain attention as early as possible, in this regard Government of India has made an Act Mahatma Gandhi national rural employment guarantee act in 2005 to give the equal rights to the rural women to participate in this act and to gain sustainable livelihood for the procurement and upliftment of women society of India. It provides them the power to control, participates, holds accountable institutions and provides basic assets and capabilities for their upliftment. The act has a great impact on liberty and decision making the power of poor women. It provides them security and protected them from exploitation. They can work with their male partners and also they can look after their Children's as well during the work site. This act gave an opportunity to the women to become less dependent on male and get equal wages with respect to the men. A lot of women workers from the rural area started a small business by the amount they get from the MGNREGA which brought a great enlightenment in the lives of women. This paper will also highlight some issues at the end which need to be addressed to make this act more powerful and purposeful for the women society.

Cricket score and winning prediction using data mining

Data Mining and Machine Learning in sports analytics is a brand-new research field in computer science with a lot of challenge. In this research, the goal is to design a result prediction system for a T20 cricket match, in particular for an IPL match while the match is in progress. Different Machine Learning and statistical approach were taken to find out the best possible outcome. A very popular mathematical technique named Multiple Linear Regression is used in order to make a comparison of results found. This model is very much popular in predictive modeling. Currently, in Twenty-Twenty(T20) cricket matches first innings score is predicted on the basis of a current run rate which can be calculated as the number of runs scored per the number of overs bowled. It does not include factors like the number of wickets fallen, venue of the match, toss. Furthermore, in second innings there is no method to predict the outcome of the match. In this paper a model has been proposed that predicts the score in each of the innings using Multiple Variable Linear Regression along with Logistic regression and finally the winner of the match using Random Forest algorithm.
